                        vCenter 6.5 INSTALLATION IN WINDOWS

First install windows 2012

Following is setting of my Windows 2012 in vmware workstation,

Remember to install vmware tools, then enable sharing to access the vCenter software.

Following is screen,

Just press Ctrl+Alt+Insert to log in.

Go to my computers then click on network, then enable network discovery.

Turn on network discovery.

Then again click on Network to get vmware-host,

 Go to shared folders.

From there I copied “VMware-VIM-all-6.5.0-6816762” folder to Windows 2012.

Run as Administrator,

Next,

Accept & Next,

Select Embedded Deployment & Next,

I do not have DNS configured, hence provided same Windows 2012 IP where I am installing vCenter.

Set the password for vCenter and next,

I give “Vmware@123”

Use Windows local account & next,

Use embedded database and next,

Next,

Next,

Next,

Now check the configuration, if need to change any value then can be done here, otherwise next.

Then installation start and will take reasonable amount of time to complete.

Finally, it’s installed.

I installed Firefox, put IP in browser & clicked on web client.

Using “administrator@vsphere.local” as username and the password “Vmware@123” which we had given in single sign on configuration while installation,

Great, finally logged in …
